Data Science & Health 2020 Continuing Professional Development Course

November 3, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

I am very excited to share with you a new Department of Medicine initiative, an educational program designed for clinicians and researchers, focused on Data Science and Health.

We are launching this initiative to meet the needs of our community, and to build capacity and fluency in the emerging field of data science as it relates to health care delivery and health research.

Our interactive, accredited, program is designed to enable engagement and collaboration with data scientists, and provide a practical roadmap for applying data science and analytics in your practice and your lab.

This year's Data Science & Health course is designed to be delivered virtually:

  • Enjoy 1-year of access to resources, discussion boards, and a community of learners through the online learning platform, Canvas, to allow self-paced learning and evaluation
  • Join our live Zoom event on November 3 featuring interactive panel discussions and keynote addresses
  • Get access to an ongoing Workshop series focused on developing collaborative research partnerships between clinicians, data scientists and engineers

We encourage you to secure your spot by registering now. We are pleased to offer complimentary registration for residents and trainees.

We look forward to seeing you there!
